Completely true. Alongside the weakening contract between employers and workers, we also see the loss of common religion, rising divorce and community breakdown (as shown in rising loneliness and suicide rates). We have successfully ripped apart the ties that bind individuals into a collective civilisation. It seems obvious that this is the route to complete anomie and social chaos.
