The "international community" is just a euphemism for the Western Bloc, from which Russia has always been excluded. The majority of the world needs Rusian commodities and is willing to ignore the invasion of Ukraine.

Putin did attempt some reproach with the US and her allies at the start of his career but he realised the truth that a powerful Russia will always be at odds with the United States.

For Russia to ever join the Western Bloc, she would have to be weakened and subdivided into her constituent parts, which obviously the Russian political elite would not accept.
